The New Saga about two western matriarchs whose lives and families come together in this incredible drama. Four Corners is a sweeping saga about two proud families in a growing southwestern community in New Mexico, where old fashioned values are at odds with changing times. Ann-Margret portrays Amanda Wyatt, forced to run her sprawling ranch while fighting off encroaching developers after the death of her husband. Living in a town in transition, where migrant workers toil just down the road from upscale ski resorts, Amanda finds solace in her friendship with the widowed Carlota Alvarez (Sonia Braga)a hispanic community leader, as both women try to keep their twenty-something children on track.
The series is from David Jacobs of "Dallas" and "Knots Landing" fame, which is enough to tell you what the series will be like. The drama premieres February 24 from 9-11 p.m., then will regularly air in place of the now-canceled "Dellaventura," on Tuesdays at 10 p.m.

The Immigration and Naturalization Service targets a young girl in Eva's class whom they suspect was smuggled into the country. When they pressure Eva to let them talk to the girl, she calls Alex, who steps in and shields the little girl. Alex finally makes up his mind and announces that he wants run for the state senate office that is about to be vacated. He announces his campaign with much fanfare, using the little girl's story to bolster his image.

Next Week
CBS has cancelled Four Corners after only 2 episodes. Whether the remaining ordered episodes will play out is unknown, but if so then the next Episode should air March 17. Next Week, March 10, the Miss America Pageant or something to that effect will be shown. Its an all new pageant with a different look. "Wow, whooptee-doo".
